March 5th Weekly Release Notes

This week’s changes include improvements to the Fantasy Assistant and various bugs to the site in general.  One major bug has been fixed with the Fantasy Assistant and one new feature has been added.  Onto the list:

  • Various font tweaks throughout FantasySP, as I try to find a a bold and readable font.
  • Trial expiration email has been updated.
  • Various CSS fixes throughout the site.
  • Major bugfix for Fantasy Assistant. Clicking on player breakdown analysis no longer causes box conflicts.
  • NEW! Fantasy Assistant now allows the user to view other teams in his league. Click on the dropdown arrow to view more teams. (thanks Ben)
  • Fantasy Assistant has an updated navigation bar to show league name.
  • NEW! Fantasy Assistant “My Roster” screen now has sortable columns. (thanks Ben)
  • Additional dupechecks added.
  • Modified landing page for Fantasy Assistant when logged out.
  • Bugfix for Weekly/Daily Trending player query. It is now more accurate.
  • Many smaller bug fixes that aren’t worth mentioning.
  • Fantasy Assistant now has longer caching for certain queries to reduce the amount of resources it consumes.

  1. For anyone wondering, the ability to look at other teams will allow you to see which players are of high importance %, but might be undervalued by the manager. The idea for this is based on the fact that those undervalued players might be great players to target in trades because the manager owning them might not understand their value fully.
