Antonio Gates reaches the end zone

Antonio Gates had 6 receptions for 73 yards and 1 TD in a week 13 loss against the Raiders.

Analysis: This marks the first time since October that Gates has recorded a TD.  A hobbled Gates proves once again that he is the best fantasy tight end in the league despite being severely limited by injuries.  If Gates can continue to deal with the pain, then he has to be in your lineups.  Owners who benched him this week learned a valuable lesson.

High/Low: Expect 6 to 15 points against Chiefs in week 14, assuming he plays.

Disappointing Outing from Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson managed just 53 yards rushing against the Jaguars.  Even with Kerry Collins as the starter, the Titans offense looks dreadful.

Analysis: Johnson and the Titans are playing their worst football of the season, just in time for the fantasy playoffs.  Ouch.  Will Johnson ever regain his form as the best back in football?  Next week the Titans play the Colts on Thursday Night Football. The Colts are known for being among the worst in the league at stopping the run.  Johnson has to produce against the Colts because after that the match-ups are no where near as easy.  Owners have to start him next week and hope he can post solid numbers.

High/Low: Expect Johnson to have 7 to 18 points against the Colts.

Bowe Will Dominant the Broncos

Kansas City WR Dwayne Bowe has had a touchdown in 7 straight games and will try to continue his hot streak against the Broncos.

Analysis: Bowe is obviously a must start receiver every week and will have a huge game against the Broncos poor secondary.  The Chiefs are coming into this game with something to prove after losing to the Broncos in week 10.  Bowe will be a huge part of their offense and will continue to be the hottest receiver in the NFL.

High/Low: Expect Bowe to have 20 to 30 points this week.

Wes Welker is Hot

Wes Welker and Brady have been on fire as of late.  This week they face the Jets, who currently rank 12th against the pass.

Analysis: Wes Welker is coming off his best week of the season, so continue to start him no matter the opponent.  In their last meeting Welker managed to grab a TD with 6 receptions for 38 yards.  Brady and the Patriots are a much different team now compared to when these two teams met back in September.  Welker has yet to reach the 100 yard mark this season and it certainly won’t happen against the Jets.   Consider him a low #1 or high #2 option for your lineups.

High/Low: Expect Welker to range anywhere from 6 to 14 points and is a must start in PPR leagues.

Mike Goodson Will Play, Safe to Start as #2

Mike Goodson has missed practice this week due to the birth of his newborn baby, but will play in Week 13 against the Seahawks.

Analysis: The last thing Goodson owners needed was another variable in the mix to decide if he should be in your lineups or not.  Missing practice could mean that Stewart gets more touches, though its hard to imagine that he will disappear.  Goodson is a big part of the offense now with a total of 22 touches last week, 8 receptions and 14 rush attempts.   He will split carries, but he has the potential to do more damage as a receiving back.  He should be a safe #2 option in most line-ups.

High/Low:  Expect Goodson to have 5 to 15 points in standard scoring leagues, but will be a better play in PPR leagues.
